FYI, I usually only talk about myself when asked specific questions. Not that I'm not creative or a good conversationalist.... well, ok, I'm working on the conversation part, but I'm terribly creative. I believe in loyalty to friends, of course within reason, but I'm terrible at it. I crave deep relationships, but have been bottling it all in for such a long time I even surprise myself how weird I am.

I'm a complete goofball. I have too many interests to really state clearly, cuz they all change from moment to moment. Where to start.....

I speak in really bad accents way more than I should. I love foreign languages; currently only Cantonese and Mandarin fluently (funny, I can't do a bad Chinese accent tho.....), taking Japanese; would love to learn German, Spanish (spain not mex), French, Italian, Russian, Tibetan, Thai/Vietnamese. I love reading, and know really well I should read as much as I say I love it. Fantasy, scifi, biography, DYI, self-help/religion/spirituality, picture books.

I'm a thoroughly sarcastic optimist, and have perfected the art of proctrastinity, though with dire consequences.

I'm outgoing online and terribly shy in person, at least at first.

I have fairly broad tastes in music, nonspecifically pop, alternative, rock, oldies, 70s, jazz, R&B/hiphop, and have a very weak spot for classical (music, musicians and singers/vocalists; when you play I melt). I play the classical flute, sing a lot (in the shower, in the car, in my head), whistle a lot, and want to learn a lot more music: composition, theory (kinda...), oboe, guitar, piano (typical asian, eh?), mellophone, viola.

I can go clubbing once in a while, but it's nice to change scene/culture: concerts, plays, musicals, circus, museums, markets.

I avoid politics in general, tho once in a while I spot a speck of interest. I'm vain and I'm self-conscious and I'm bold(ish) and I'm timid and I'm realistic. I'm a wannabe mac and/or linux geek, but waste so much time on video games and web vids.
